Holiday of a Lifetime Chairman, Bro. Nic Ashby RoH announces the 2026 holiday beneficiaries, The Queensbury, School, Birmingham.

The Holiday is to commence 26th April to Sunday 3rd May 2026.

20.6.25 – RAOB GLC H.O.A.L.T. Summer Ball and the LeBay Beach Front Hotel Larnaca. 180 guests having an enjoyable evening, raffle raised over €2500 for future HOALT events.

 

7.5. 25 – 14.5.25 – RAOB GLC Holiday of a Lifetime 2025

Featuring the Stone Bay School Broadstairs Kent, UK. A marvellous holiday, enjoyed by all, the beneficiaries and the Buffs alike. (Please see additional photos at the bottom of this Home page).
Day 1– Arrival at Larnaca Airport from Gatwick UK. Meeting with the Buffs and transferred to the Vrissaki Beach Hotel in Protaras.
Day 2– Meet the Buffs in the morning and then a relaxing day and evening at the Hotel.
Day 3 – A day at sea on the Black Pearl.
Day 4 – The Stone Bay School meets the Buffs and supporters as guests at a BBQ in their honour. Bouncy castle, children’s entertainer, Face painting and a lovely BBQ.
Day 5 – A trip to the Paralimni Aquarium in the afternoon after a hearty breakfast and a morning around the pool.
Day 6 – A long trip to the Camel Park where they enjoyed a lovely lunch, Pony rides and of course a ride on the camels. Also enjoyed relaxing by the Camel Park Pool and consuming their body weight in ice cream.
Day 7– On our way home, back to Gatwick UK after a good lunch and farewell to the Hotel management, staff and of course, the Buffs in Cyprus.

 

11.2.25 – Grand Secretary, Bro. Gary Davis ROH, joined a Video Conference today to meet the lucky beneficiaries of our 2025 HOALT award. The Holiday is booked for 7th – 14th May 2025. Flights booked with Easyjet, from London Gatwick and they will be staying at the lovely Vrissaki Beach Hotel Protaras. They will enjoy day trips to: Waterworld Ay,Napa, The Camel Park Mazatos, The Paralimni Ocean Aquarium, a trip on the Black Pearl from Ay. Napa and a BBQ party with a bouncy castle, children’s entertainer and music at the Buffs Lodge room in Dhekelia. To say that the kids were delighted with the presentation would be a gross understatement.

 

9.11.24 – Deputy Grand Primo, Brother Ray Hill ROH remains on his travels and this time is captured attending the Buttercross Lodge in Oxfordshire to receive a magnificent donation to H.O.A.L.T. from the Oxford & District Province in the sum of €6000.00. He also took charge of another donation to HOALT from the Lodge of €250 both of which are safely banked in the Grand Lodge Bank account.

 

19.10.24 – A BBQ organised by the ‘Buffs’ on behalf of the ESBA Divisional Scouts Group who were to make a donation to H.O.A.L.T, Ruth Barton and Leoni Pitman can be seen presenting the cheque in the magnificent sum of €2500 to Bro. Nic Ashby ROH the IPGP plus an additional €700 by an anonymous donation. The final total on the day exceeded €3500.

15.7.24 – The Holiday of a Lifetime Committee announced the recipients of the HOALT award for 2025 today.  Stone Bay School, Broadstairs Kent, website: https://www.stonebayschool.co.uk/who specialise in teaching and developing Autistic children from 6-19 years old. Chairman of the Committee, Bro. Nic Ashby ROH say’s ‘we are delighted to be working with the school in arranging 10 selected children, with varying levels of the spectrum of Autism to visit us in Cyprus and enjoy a Holiday of their life time.’ The holiday is 7th-14th May 2025. 14.6.24 -The Holiday of a Life Time (H.O.A.L.T) Summer Ball at the LeBay Beach Hotel, Larnaca. 170 Guests in attendance who helped to raise in excess of €2100 for our HOALT project. Tickets only €40 all-inclusive of drinks and meal and entertainment by the Rag n Bone Man.

 

12.9.23  Mazotos Camel Park

Ukrainian Refugees from Famagusta District guest of the ‘Buffs’ in coalition with the Friendship Circle Cyprus for our second organised day trip sponsored by Holiday Of A LifeTime.

 

29.7.23-HOALT Ukraine Refugee Childrens day out in Limassol Forsouri Water Park. Organized and paid for by the Buffs. 52 children plus teachers. A great day out enjoyed by all.
